Moab MUnifest

I spent the weekend in Moab covering the 8th annual mountain unicycle festival. About 170 unicycle enthusiasts descended upon the mountain town for three days of trail riding and competitions. Yes, It's true. Unicycles on slickrock. It was as amazing as it sounds.

Bundle of Joy

At 2:30pm Saturday afternoon, Ashley and I welcomed the newest member to our family. Weighing in at 25.5 lbs and 14 weeks old, she is half black lab and half German Shepherd. Her name has yet to be determined, but suggestions are welcome.

Cottonwood Track

The Cottonwood track team has to run around a big pile of dirt that is the infield of their track. They are a half year behind laying down the astroturf. Sucks for the runners, but it made for a few intersting pictures.

Utah State BBall

I spent last Friday shooting feature pictures during the state semifinal men's basketball games in Ogden, Ut. It was refreshing not having to worry about the 'game action' pictures, (thanks Trent for taking care of that) but instead, concentrating on all of the peripheral action and drama that takes place away from the court.

Herrin Twins

The formerly conjoined Herrin twins turned 5 on Sunday. It was a huge story when the pair was seperated last year, so the paper wanted to do an update. Maliyah is getting her mother's kidney in a few weeks; Kendra is doing well. Her once body-size wound is now the size of a dime and covered up with a Band-aid. Their mom let me spend 21 minutes photographing at the house.
