I shot a few races of the 5A state swimming champinoships from the observation window five feet below the surface of the water. It was incrediibly hard to time when each heat would begin because you can't hear anything down there. I ended up staying down there for an extra 15 minutes because I didn't realize the meet had ended. It was only after I saw the timing pads being pulled from the pool that I left.
